John H. Rundall

MISSOULA ~ John H. Rundall 77 of Missoula passed away on Sunday July 31st, 2022, peacefully at home from complications due to a stroke suffered at the end of June. He was born on March 28th, 1945, in Sharon, Connecticut to Hubert and Hazel Rundall, growing up in Dover Planes, New York. He went to Webutuck High School in Amenia, New York. He served his country in the U. S. Army as a sharpshooter and light vehicle driver. He studied automobile mechanics and bodywork at Alemeda College in California. On December 28th, 1992, he married Mary Louise Richards in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, living much of their marriage in Missoula. He worked as a long-haul truck driver for most of his adult life; the majority of those years for Sorensen Transportation out of Missoula. He had a love of restoring old cars, working on his countless projects, and visiting with his many wonderful friends. He was survived by his wife Mary Lou Rundall Missoula. Two daughters and their families, Kathy (Tom) Lewis California and Josie (Keith) Richards Montana. One son Mike (Barbara) Richards Arizona. One brother David E. Rundall New York. Several nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren and three great grandsons. A celebration of life will be held August 13th, 2022, from 1pm to 3pm at Sorensen 6575 U. S. HWY 10 W Missoula, Mt. 59808. Arrangements are under the care of Just Cremation Montana in Missoula.
