Nancy Lee Bartlett

Nancy Lee (Marin) Bartlett, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024, after a complicated journey with cancer.  Up until the end, Nancy maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, love of family and friends, and expressed gratitude for her life, full of wonderful and varied experiences. 

Nancy was the third child born to Raymond and Viola Marin in Missoula, Montana on December 9, 1947.  She has two siblings, Gary and Coleen.

On March 8, 1967, Nancy married George Bartlett and together they had three daughters. 

Nancy lived an active and enjoyable life.  She loved reading, fishing at Lake Mary Ronan, camping, and just sitting in the back yard with a cozy campfire. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Viola Marin.

She is survived by her former husband, George E. Bartlett; three daughters, RaeDean, Stacy (Scott), and Terry (Mark) as well as nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  Nancy is also survived by her brother, Gary; sister, Coleen (Phil); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. 

Nancy was a true friend to whomever she met.  If you only met Nancy once, you never forgot her.  Nancy was a social butterfly and a forever friend to many. Nancy believed that you could either exist or you could live.  Nancy truly lived.  She will be greatly missed.
