Vernis Trochmann

Vernis Trochmann, born in Seattle and a proud Montana resident for the past 35 years, passed away surrounded by family. She devoted much of her life to caring for children as the owner and operator of a beloved daycare, where her warmth and patience touched countless young lives.

 

She shared 48 loving years of marriage with her husband, Bill Trochmann, a partnership marked by deep devotion and quiet strength.

 

Vernis is survived by her children — Tara, BJ, Mitch, Wayne, and Scott — and by her cherished grandchildren: Kade, Hannah, Harley, Taylor, Madyson, Luke, Colin, and Nick. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the many lives she brightened.

 

Per her wishes, no funeral service will be held. In honor of her memory, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice House in Missoula, Montana, whose compassionate care brought comfort and dignity in her final days.
