Souvenirs

Robert Lee Feiock Jr, age 50, of Glendive, Montana passed away on July 7th 2025 at Providence Saint Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana after a lengthy battle with renal failure. Born January 20th, 1975, in Roundup, Montana, to Robert Lee Feiock Sr. and Laurie Van Dyk Feiock. Robert (known to many as "Junior" or "Bobby") spent most of his childhood in Glasgow, Montana, where he attended grade school. As a preteen, Robert’s mother Laurie passed away unexpectedly, a loss he carried close to his heart from that point forward. As a teenager, Robert enjoyed playing football, until his coach told Robert he needed to cut off his ponytail. Given the choice between his love of football and his love for his ponytail, Robert made the obvious choice and quit football. This is when his love for cars, the more beat up the better, began. Junior and his father, affectionately known as “Fat Boy,” spent countless hours together with friends building demolition derby cars to later smash and crash them.

On Christmas Eve of 1999, Junior met his future wife, and shortly after was introduced to her daughter. From that time on, Robert proudly accepted Estella’s daughter, Barbara, as his own. Shortly after, Robert’s young family joined him in Glasgow for a few years where they enjoyed spending their time fishing, hunting, and camping. While living in Glasgow, Robert found his life’s passion in his employment at Treasure Trail Meat Processing.

Robert and his family later moved to Glendive, Montana and he began working at Triple T Specialty Meats. He also found a summer position with the Intake Paddlefish/Yellowstone Caviar program. Combining his passion for meat processing with camping and friendly conversation, this position was a match made in Heaven for Robert. Many friends were made and stories told over the evening campfire after a long day in the fish trailer.

In Glendive, Robert’s love of smashed cars took on new life as he befriended several bump-n-run drivers. Many hours were spent in friends’ garages peering under the hood and socializing with a Mountain Dew in hand. He had a wealth of knowledge, something his daughter Barbara relied on often. It wasn’t unusual for her to call and say, “My car is making a weird noise. What do you think it could be?” If he didn’t know the answer, he knew someone who did and always made sure it got handled.

Of his many talents, the greatest of all was Robert’s ability to make friends anywhere and everywhere. It offered him the opportunity to experience life through a different lens.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; Robert Feiock Sr. and Laurie Van Dyk Feiock.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Michael O’Dea; his granddaughter, Serenity O’Dea; his sister, Heather (Robert) Ordway; niece Brooklyn Feiock; nephews Jessie Foster and Zephania Ordway; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held on August 30th at the Intake Campground at 2 PM.

Robert had numerous friends at Intake MT and the Confluence where he cleaned paddlefish expertly for a number of years. He was quiet and always friendly. He is missed.
