Lorraine K. Lane
20 janvier 1962 - 11 avril 2025
20 janvier 1962 - 11 avril 2025
Born to Ken and Dorothy (Dot) in sunny Southern California. That seemed to be how she spent her life, full of sunshine and smiles. Lorraine’s (Rainy’s) good nature was contagious, always singing and brining laughter to everyone around her. At an early age Rainy knew that she wanted to help others. She married and had two beautiful children. She raised them to be strong and independent, providing her world of love and happiness. Rainy worked at their school, supported them in all of their activities. Still she wanted to do more. After joining the Central Lyon County Fire District as a volunteer, she became an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT). Later she was appointed as her station EMS Captain, a position that she was extremely proud of. As life happens, she divorced and later remarried in 2002. A short time later life threw another big challenge, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (M.S). As she became unable to do the activities she loved, she continued to help others by teaching EMT classes at Western Nevada College. In 2018 Rainy moved with her husband to Seeley Lake Montana. She was able to participate at the Fire Department, volunteering to teach EMS classes and help with the Pancake Breakfast. Soon this nasty disease took away all mobility, she continued to progress and lose her independence, but not losing her courage and fortitude to fight this disease. Through this challenging time she continued to share her life stories with pride and sense of humor. On April 11, 2025 her long battle ended. Lorraine was welcomed into the waiting arms of our Lord. She is free of all pain and suffering. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Dot Bramblett, and her younger brother Ken. She is survived by her Husband Dave Lane, Sister Lauren (Nick) Garnetti, Sister Kendra Morovick, Daughters Amanda (Dan) Frias and Amber Zsenyuk, stepchildren Sean Lane, Danielle (Dalton) Donaldson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Seeley Lake, Montana followed by a Potluck Celebration of Life. These will be held at the Seeley Lake Community Center on May 17, 2025 at 11:00. Another service will be held in Dayton, Nevada this summer. Rest in peace beautiful angel, we miss you!

I have known Lorraine for over thirty years. We raised our kids together and worked at Dayton Intermediate as lunch room aides together. We had so much fun being at the school and making a difference in the lives of the kids. I will miss all of our talks on the phone. Rest In Peace my friend Elaine Janas

I worked with both Dave & Lorraine at a place near Dayton. Lorraine was a fun person to be around & work with! She always had a smile & a happy attitude, often making a funny comment or sharing a funny story. She always had time for a person, whether it was to laugh or to listen & offer support. Rest In Peace Lorraine.

Lorraine was a beautiful person in every way possible! I will miss those memories that we had planned and cherish the memories we have. I will see you again my angel, my wife.

Lorraine was my sister-a-law and married to my brother, Dave. I always loved the times we shared, which were too few. She was a firecracker with a great laugh. I loved her fierce love for all of her children, my brother, and many more. She handled her illness like a champ. She and Dave weathered that difficult storm with a lot of love. It was most difficult the last year, but they always loved each other and were lucky enough to have many wonderful years of great memories. I hope everyone hangs onto those great memories and know she’s looking down from heaven with her great big smile. -Christine

Rainy was the true definition of an earth Angel. Everyone who met her loved her immediately. When the MS took ahold of her body she maintained her loving spirit. Rest in Heaven Beautiful Soul. Give Joe a hug from me.
