I'm so thankful for you. I'm thankful for all the things you taught me. I remember as a little girl you'd always tell me to stick up for myself and to stand up for what I believe. You taught me to be strong and resilient. I have you to thank for my tenacity. I'm going to miss you so much.

Rod was someone no one can forget sometime I think about the time when we where little and he would say "oh you girls "you're going to get in trouble," and laugh in his soft spoken man voice. Oh man, his enchiladas. I loved those so much, even though it meant drinking a whole glass of milk,, which obviously, "as he says, "does a body good, it makes you grow strong". And always for breakfast, peanut butter toast, and still a glass of milk. I'm really gonna miss all the stories and adventures he told sitting at the table. Just listening. As I grew older, just joking with him that I was going to steal him away and marry him one day. I love telling him he's my captain hook and he always will be, I hope he's out there flying that ship in the sky. One last thing about Rod, sometimes a mustache wears a man, but he wore his, absolutely worked it- he singlehandedly made it timeless. Sending so much so much unconditional love!
