8 de septiembre de 1939 - 26 de junio de 2026
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we announce the passing of Donna (Morasch) Sauers, who passed on June 26, 2026, in Missoula, Montana at the age of 86. She will be remembered for the love she shared and the lives she touched.
Donna was born and raised on her family’s wheat farm near Endicott, Washington. Growing up in the rolling Palouse instilled in her lifelong values of hard work, resilience, humility, and kindness.
In 1962, she married her true love, David Sauers, creating a life rooted in partnership and built on unwavering love and dedication. Together they shaped a family and worked side by side through every season of life. In 1968, they made Missoula, Montana, their home where Donna devoted herself as a homemaker, mother to Dan and Diana, and steadfast partner to David.
Donna loved her family quietly and fiercely. She expressed her love through gentle acts of service, a warm and welcoming home, and a steadfast presence that made her family feel safe, supported, and cherished. Nothing brought her greater happiness than watching her family grow. She warmly welcomed Tori and Hunt into the family and found immeasurable joy in her five grandchildren, who were among the greatest blessings of her life. Her first great grandson arrived a few short days after her passing, filling many with joy during a time of profound loss.
Donna leaves behind a legacy of strength, grace, and unconditional love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her example will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
The family will gather and lay her to rest in Endicott on September 12, returning her to the place where her story began and where she always found peace.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
