Lila Baker

Lila Nicole Baker, 38, Passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at St Patrick Hospital, Missoula, MT from complications of colon cancer. Lila was born January 4, 1983 in Philipsburg, MT to Karrie Westwood and Nick Baker. Her first 3 years of life were spent in Philipsburg where her parents owned and operated the Granada Theatre. The family moved to Missoula MT in 1986 where Lila enjoyed biking, hiking, skipping, dance, & gymnastics. Her parents divorced in 1988. Lila lived between her parents home in Missoula and the Silver Valley, ID she attended schools in Missoula, MT, Osburn, Mullan, & Coeur d Alene, ID Lila attended North Idaho College as an graphic art major, eventually switching her education to BA in business accounting from School of Phoenix, getting her doctorate in Chiropractic. Lila owned her own chiropractic office in San Francisco and was voted Bay Area #1 Chiropractor . She married Robert Smith her high school Sweetheart on October 5, 2002 the couple lived in Silverdale WA where Lila was a gymnastics instructor and owned a gymnastics business. They divorced in 2004. Lila went on to work for numerous Corporations until she landed in the Bay Area where she worked for a Chiropractic Group at this point deciding on her life path to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, Attending Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward CA where she excelled and met many of her dearest friends. She discovered NUCCA, National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, and decided that was her life work. Lila met her second husband Eric Reedy swing dancing at the Verde Club. They were married on August 8, 2014 divorced 2016. She also opened Circus Connection School of Circus Arts in San Francisco where she taught Cyr Wheel and performed. She was amazingly strong and flexible until cancer robbed her body of all her life force. Lila had so many positive attributes that she shared with the world: her beautiful smile, her positive attitude, and her charming personality. She was loved by all who met her, and she strove to send that love out to the world. Lila was an amazing swing dancer, loved the outdoors, skiing, hiking, biking, camping and family, especially the children in her life. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents: Maxwell and Edith Baker, Uncle Dr Martin Baker, Aunt Joan Lichteran, Cousin Dr Cheryl Lynn Baker. She is survived by her furry babies, Patricia Ann & Susan Quincy, Parents Karrie Westwood (Robert Pfouts), Nick Baker (Mary Morrison), sister Katy Rose Baker Casile (Almer Casile), brother Adrian Swenson (Taylor Verdun), Maternal Grandparents Colleen Pace Brewer, Gordon Westwood (Eva Selma Westwood); and numerous Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins to numerous too mention here. Lila would travel many miles or hours to get to a family event because she loved us all so much!!!
