Lorna P. Cantrell

MISSOULA ~ Lorna Pearl Cantrell born October 10th 1945 in Forsyth MT passed away at the young age of 76 on August 19th 2022 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. Lorna will live on through her husband Jerry E. Cantrell and children Clifford (Serena) Williams, Jeff, Jerry, Steve (Randee)Cantrell, Missy (Bruce) Shatto and Becky (John)Clem, 22 Grandkids and 19 Great Grandkids. Lorna had a fierce love and dedication to her husband and children. Family was her priority and she was very involved. Always had her kids backs even when she probably shouldn’t have. Steve said she was his greatest enabler. She not only loved her children but all the neighborhood kids called her “Mom”. Her open door policy helped a lot of kids, whether it was a meal, roof overhead or just a fun place to hang out. She treated them as her own, so they may have had to wash a wall or two. She was strong and courageous. In 1991 at the age of 45 she went back and got her GED, which she was super proud of. Lorna liked her flowers, thunderstorms, painting, ceramics, knitting, playing cards and her favorite pastime was keeping her husband Jerry in line whether he liked or not. Not only did she have a great sense of humor and infectious laugh, she was the life of the party. Lorna loved telling family stories, she is probably telling one right now. She loved Paul Harvey so come Saturday to hear The Rest of the Story. Celebration of life will be Saturday August 27th at 1:00pm, 9141 Paintbrush Lane, Missoula MT. Arrangements are under the care of Just Cremation Montana in Missoula.
