Recuerdos

Missoula, Mt. -Michael J. Armstrong 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Providence St. Patrick Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Oct. 12, 1954 in Great Falls, Mt. At Malmstrom AFB. Mike had a delightful sense of humor and the uncanny ability to strike up a conversation with anyone because of his happy-go-lucky attitude and warmhearted personality. He loved to fish, hunt and he enjoyed almost any outdoor activity. His love of animals was evident when he looked into the eyes of his many beloved pets over the years, for in them he saw a living being, a friend and a soul. He enjoyed creating etched, intricate wood art with his Dremel tool set and GRIT was a favorite Western T. V. Station. Upon his completion as SSG in the The U. S. Army, he continued living his dream while managing The Holland Lake Lodge in Condon, Mt. and later became employed for J. D. Parker Asphalt, driving dump truck until his retirement in 2019. Survivors include his Mother, Marjorie Magstadt; his Former Wife, Sylvia and their Son, Michael; Siblings, Cathy, Brent, and Joylynn; Grandchildren, Brayden and Colby along with numerous Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Father, Marvin Armstrong and the many special pets that were an important part of his life throughout the years. “Always In Our Minds, Forever In Our Hearts” Unknown
