Terrie Len Flink
24 de julio de 1960 - 1 de abril de 2025
24 de julio de 1960 - 1 de abril de 2025
Terrie Len Flink passed away peacefully at her home in Missoula on 4-1-25 of natural causes. She was preceded into that far green field by her loving parents, Dona (nee Booth) Flink and Len Flink, and her only sibling, sister Sheri (nee Flink) McCollum-Meyer, all of Missoula. She leaves behind her niece and nephew, Tami and Tom Hengel, of Missoula, who ensured she was respectfully and forever interred with her parents and sister; as well as many extended family members and friends, including her two devoted dogs.
Terrie walked her own path in life and lived the life she chose to the end. Her spirituality and connection to her animals were especially important to her throughout her life and were with her at her passing. All who knew her are encouraged to come together and share their times and experiences with Terrie as they would enjoy. Terrie's family will have an intimate ceremony for her interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to support local animal care groups, including the Humane Society of Western Montana.

The memories of my Big, Little Cousin have been flowing through my mind over these past 48 hours, spending many summers together as we were growing up and then spending time together when I would fly into Missoula to visit my mom and family as an adult One memory that I hadn't reflected on in many years was from 20 years ago. I had flown in for the holidays and arranged a special Christmas dinner for my mother, Jean, Aunt Dona and Terrie. It was at the Depot Restaurant as the festive decorations filled you with warmth of the season upon driving onto the parking lot. We had an amazing evening! The next day, I was to fly out and Terrie had come to the airport to see me off with her mom and mine. She whispered to me that she had prayed all morning that my flight would be canceled so that I would be forced to stay another day. Well, I said my goodbyes and headed up to my gate. After about 45 minutes of delays, we were informed that due to the snow and cloud inversion, our flight was canceled. I called Terrie and told her, "Apparently you have some pull as my flight has been canceled". She headed over to pick me up and that evening we enjoyed just a "cousins" dinner. Thanks for the memories!
