Vanessa Lee Robinson Trudeau, age 77, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at her home in Superior, Montana, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Born in Great Falls, Montana, Vanessa was the cherished daughter of Russell and Margaret Robinson, who preceded her in death. She lived a life grounded in faith, love, and devotion to her family.

 

Vanessa was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found great comfort and strength in her faith and in her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering belief were an inspiration to all who knew her.

 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Gerry Trudeau; her children, William Pengally, David Trudeau, and Tammy Comfort (Michael); and her brothers, Wayne Robinson (Betty) and Ron Robinson (Leslie). Vanessa's family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved.

 

Prior to her illness, Vanessa enjoyed knitting, baking, and spending time with family. She had a special gift for making others feel welcomed and cared for, whether through a lovingly prepared meal, a handmade treasure, or simply her warm and gentle presence. Her grace, generosity, and steadfast love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

 

Though she has departed from this earthly life, Vanessa's legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Those who knew and loved her take comfort in the knowledge that her spirit endures and that families are forever.

 

A celebration of Vanessa's life will be held later.
