William Thomas Manning
6 de agosto de 1962 - 12 de diciembre de 2023
6 de agosto de 1962 - 12 de diciembre de 2023
With heavy hearts, we share the sad news of William "Bill" Manning's passing on December 12, 2023. He passed away peacefully in the night and is now at home with the Lord.
Bill studied industrial electrical engineering in Helena, Montana and later received his Bachelor's Degree in fine art from the UofM (Go Griz!) He spent most of his life creating art in many different mediums, but his favorites were playing the guitar, photography and oil paintings on large stretched canvasses. He dedicated his everyday life to following the Lord, his love of fine art, good music and being surrounded by his family and friends whenever possible. Bill spent the past 30+ years of his life in Missoula, Montana where he made countless friends, watched his two daughters grow up into lovely young women. Bill proudly became a "Pop Pop" in 2007 with the birth of his first grandchild. Bill's kindness, gentle nature and quirky sense of humor will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Bill is survived by: Bonus Parents Bob and Wendy Clark. Siblings Laura (Manning) Johnson, Robert Manning, Arthur Clark, Sarah Clark and Paul Clark. Children: Rachel Manning, and Grace (Manning) Robeson. Grandchildren: Eli Brothers and Vicka (Victoria) Robeson.
Bill is proceeded in Death by his father Ret Cpt RT (Richard) Manning and Mother Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Clark.

Bill was my first cousin and a dear friend (our mothers were sisters). While we had drifted apart as we aged and had our own families, there were many times together in our youth when lasting memories were made: trips to Virginia City, Monterey, Falls Church and Bethesda for reunions - and a notable Thanksgiving in Hillsborough NC. Bill was one of a kind and had a humor and thought process that often led to adventure. My prayers go out to his children and the rest of the family. Rest in peace my dear cousin Bill aka BI78
