Francine Yardley Lerback
25 juillet 1955 - 29 mai 2026
25 juillet 1955 - 29 mai 2026
Francine (Yardley) Lerback, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully departed this life on May 29, 2026, at the age of 70, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 25, 1955, in Council, Idaho, Francine's life was full of love, laughs and sass. Everyone that knew her enjoyed her presence.
In 1980, she married Greg Lerback, embarking on a journey together that spanned over four decades. Their union was a beacon of love and partnership that inspired all who knew them. Their plan was to travel south for the winters as soon as Greg retired. Her excitement was infectious.
Francine has 4 children. Waynn Mcalister, Wendy Fischbach, Brandy Schell and Tony Lerback. All who survive her. She was a grandmother to 11 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Francine was known for her spicy attitude, inappropriate jokes, her generous heart and that legendary middle finger. From grandkids to someone she loves in need, she was always willing to donate or help in any way. She was at every off road race that Greg, Brandy, Tony and her grandson Colin raced at cheering (screaming to slow down and don’t do that) them on. She attended all the sports, band concerts, fundraisers, family dinners and BBQ’s that she was able to.
Francine Yardley Lerback's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, reminding us of the profound impact one life can have on the world. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness and love. The world lost a legend but you can bet that she’s giving everyone a run for their money in heaven.
A celebration of life is planned for September 12, 2026 at 1 pm. It will be held at Orchard Homes. All are welcome. We look forward to seeing everyone and exchanging memories of such an incredible woman.
