Recuerdos

By her own hand:

----------

Judith Hart Jackman (86) was the daughter of C.W. “Chick” and Jennye G. Hart. She grew up in Missoula, MT with her three brothers – Chuck, Tom, and Doug. She graduated from Missoula County High School with Honors. She later attended the University of Montana in Missoula earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.  It was there she met and married John R. Jackman. They moved to Superior, MT where he worked for the U.S Forest Service. It was there they raised their three daughters and later retired.

As a member of the Mineral Country Hospital Guild, she sewed layettes and quilts for the newborn babies. She played the piano and accompanied many high school students at district and state music festivals. She also played for some Easter Cantatas and Children’s Theater productions. She served a term as a City Council member and two terms as the Superior City Judge.

She is survived by her brother Chuck (Brenda) and her three beloved daughters – Jennye Jackman, Janet Clyatt (Eugene), and Julia Jackman-Brink (David).

Her ashes will be interred at the Superior Cemetery next to her husband. She did not want a memorial service.

----------

It was Mom’s wish, in lieu of flowers and cards, that people instead consider donating funds to your local food pantry or service organization.
