Rhonda Annette Rosenthal Stahl

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rhonda Annette Rosenthal Stahl (Jarvis), born on June 12th, 1964, to Marilyn and Robert Jarvis. Rhonda passed away February 25, 2023 at the age of 58. Rhonda was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who know her. She was born and raised in Wyandotte, KS, where she spent her childhood and adolescence. In 1980, Rhonda attended Lincoln Academy; she ran track and graduated with the class of ‘82. Rhonda attended community college and then joined the Air Force; she was briefly stationed in London, where she gave birth to her first son/Brian, and made many lifelong friends. Upon her return to Kansas City, Rhonda worked at UPS; she became a mom to her second son/ Nicholas, and relocated so she could attend classes full-time at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO; she was majoring in Poly-Sci/Criminal Justice. Rhonda embarked on a career in legal administration; she worked for a prestigious law firm and the MO Attorney General’s Office. From a young age, Rhonda was musically gifted; she could play the piano and the violin by ear. Rhonda was enrolled in school music classes and had professional coaching within the home setting. Rhonda had an opportunity to apply to Juilliard, but ended up serving her country instead. Rhonda met the love of her life, Larry “Lar” Stahl, and they were married on December 31, 2009. She relocated to Missoula, Montana. They attended Synagogue, the Farmer’s Market, where she sold her homemade Sam’s BBQ sauce; she and Lar enjoyed traveling stateside to visit family and friends when their health permitted. Rhonda was a pet mom to her dog named Ginger, and her cat. Rhonda loved keeping in touch with friends and loved ones through social media, and Rhonda also loved talking on the phone for hours! Rhonda had a great sense of humor and a passion for practicing a vegan and holistic medicinal lifestyle. Rhonda’s husband, bio father (Sam Rosenthal), stepfather (Bernard T. Wilson), and stepmother (Philistine Jarvis) preceded her in death. Rhonda is survived by her parents, her in-laws, Nicholas Jarvis and family, Brian Jarvis, Roxane Jarvis, Markis Allen, her half-brother Anthony Rosenthal and her family, as well as her extended family. She will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her.
