I'll be indebted to Tom forever for caring, reaching out, and sharing the love of God with me. He had a greater passion to know God than anyone I've every known. I learned much from all the conversations we had and wish for more, but I learned even more from watching how he lived. I know that he is rejoicing now in the presence of his Lord.

We have countless treasured memories of Tom. He loved us in a way that always built us up and stirred us to run after Jesus with passion. The tribute to him is faithful and true. Nothing had to be made up. That's who he was. We relished his way of telling a story, finding the humor in everyday life. And we were blessed with his kindness and practical ways of showing love. Yes, he had the heart of a servant. Yes, he was a reflection of his Father. Now, for fun, Id like to share one of the funny things he said. I have remembered it and laughed over the years. We were talking about marriage and daughters getting married. He did one of his wry smiles and said, " Yes, my advice in premarital counseling to men is: Learn to say one thing. It's only two words. " Yes Dear"! Can't you just see him saying that? I love it. Some day there will be a gathering at the river and a beautiful celebration. And when we hear that unmistakable voice shouting "Glory to God! Hallelujah ", we will know that Tom has walked into the party. Neice will probably be bringing MN hot dish or Toms recipe of barbecued ribs for the picnic. With love, Linda Field
