Virginia Mary Buhl

Virginia Mary Buhl, 94, passed away on December 15, 2021 at Community Hospital in Missoula, Montana, surrounded by her daughter and sons. She was born July 18, 1927 to Mary and Stephen Demczuk in St. Paul, Minnesota. Virginia was the oldest of three children with siblings Stella and Steve. She graduated from high school in 1945 in St. Paul and started working shortly thereafter. She married Donald Buhl in St. Paul in 1948. They were blessed with three children, Mike, Nancy, and Todd. Virginia helped provide for her family, working various jobs as a clerk, a medical and legal secretary, and for her community church. She was active in her community and loved her church. In 1971 she moved to Missoula. Virginia was preceded in death by her former husband, Donald Buhl in 1978, and her sister, Stella Lason in 2017. She is survived by her brother Steve and her children Mike (Maureen) Buhl, Nancy (Ed) Richardson, Todd (Vicki) Buhl, grandchildren Jennifer & Eric Buhl, Rory & Ryan Richardson, great grandchildren, Colton, Ryker, Ellie and Jameson. She loved the Lord and life. Services will be Friday May 27, at 10:30 a. m. at the Frenchtown Community Church. We ask that in lieu of flowers, please donate to her church (Atonement Lutheran Church) or to Missoula Aging Services.
