Merritt David Christensen

Merritt David Christensen, 83, Born Sept. 20th, 1939 passed over on June 3rd, 2023. Better known as Chris, he was a man of many talents; a cowboy; animal husbandry, a carpenter for many years and whatever he needed to do to support his family. He was involved in the building of many projects in Missoula, the Bitterroot Valley, and many other places in Montana. He is survived by 6 of his 7 children, whose mother is Alice Christensen of Corvallis; Brent (Sandra) of Blackfoot, ID; Kasey (wife of Corey who proceeded him in death in 2008) of Victor; Jason (Lita) of Missoula; Amy of Corvallis; Eric (Mykie) of Twin Bridges; Keith (Megumi) of Naha, Okinawa, Japan; Zane (Renee) of Conway, South Carolina; also 2 step children: Jennifer (Rick) Brenner of Reno, Nevada; and Will Frinzely of Helena; 23 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; also his wife of 17 years, Karen Christensen of Missoula.
