Timothy Patrick Boileau
December 23rd, 1966 - March 14th, 2025
December 23rd, 1966 - March 14th, 2025
With profound sadness, we share the sudden passing of Timothy Patrick Boileau—a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. His departure leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Tim was a man of intelligence, quick wit, and unwavering kindness. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, finding both peace and adventure in hunting and hiking. Some of his fondest memories were spent with his uncle, Fred Staedler, swapping stories about hunting and firearms, a shared passion that strengthened their bond.
A skilled duck hunter, Tim impressed even the most seasoned sportsmen. His father, George, fondly recalls a special hunting trip where Tim made a remarkable triple—three shots, three birds—a moment of pure skill and joy they treasured together.
In his younger years, whenever he found himself in a bind, he could always count on his brother Mike to come to the rescue. Whether it was a scrape, a misadventure, or a predicament of his own making, Mike was his steadfast ally. As time passes, the stories of their escapades have only grown more legendary, each retelling adding a little more flair, a little more laughter, and a whole lot more heart.
Tim approached life and work with integrity and respect for all; he was deeply committed to justice and fairness, carrying this principle in both his personal and professional life. He took pride in his appearance, always in a pressed shirt with shined shoes—a habit he learned from his Grandpa Staedler. His exceptional talents as a philosopher, student, and scholar reflected his deep curiosity and relentless pursuit of knowledge.
Beyond his love for the outdoors, Tim was an extraordinary athlete, earning accolades in competitive swimming and tennis. His dedication and skill in sports were matched by his early musical talent as a pianist and trumpet player.
Above all, Tim was fiercely devoted to his family. He lovingly cared for his parents for many years. His bond with his sister, Leslie, was one of profound love and unwavering support. She was not only his sister but his best friend and closest confidante. Their relationship was a source of strength, built on deep trust, mutual respect, and an unbreakable connection. Whether sharing quiet moments or endless conversations filled with laughter, they were always there for each other. Leslie will forever cherish the wisdom, warmth, and companionship Tim brought into her life. He also adored his nieces, Katelyn and Helen Weldon, and his nephew, Nik Boileau, filling their lives with laughter, guidance, and unconditional love.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Donna; his maternal grandmother, Helen Kuntz Staedler; his maternal grandfather Fred Staedler and step-grandmother, Marylee Albert Staedler; and his paternal grandfather, Felix Boileau and grandmother, Marie Wagerer Boileau and step-grandmother, Grace Boileau. He is survived by his father, George Boileau, his siblings Kevin, Michael (Ute), Leslie (Jeff Weldon) and his nieces (Katelyn and Helen) and nephew (Nik). Though his passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, his spirit lives on in the memories, stories, and love he shared.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on May 4th at noon at The Cambium Place, 945 Wyoming Avenue, Missoula, MT. A family burial service will take place prior.
In Tim’s honor, take a moment to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, share a story with someone you love, and live with the same passion and heart that Tim did.
Rest in peace, dear son and brother. You are deeply missed.

RIP, Tim. It was always good to see your smile when we were doing transfers. Reloading and firearms were always a topic of discussion. I am sad to hear of your passing; now I know why you have been on my mind. Go with God
