Charles Phillip Smith

Charles Phillip Smith was born 12/07/1954 and pass away on 8/22/2025 in Frenchtown, MT.  He was preceded in death by brothers Ralph and Marvin and sister Phyllis, as well as parents Josephine and Otto.  He is survived by sister Darlene Hirning and husband Bob, brother Stanley Smith and wife Wanda, brother Donald Smith, and sister-in-law Deanna Smith.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

 

Charlie enjoyed reading, video games, family gatherings and long drives with the dogs. He went to school and graduated from Frenchtown High School.  He attended culinary school and took some college courses.  He had various jobs in western Montana and he retired from the University of Montana.

 

Charlie was loved and will be missed by his friends and family.
