George Randolph Hulsey “Randy” 59 passed away Friday August 11th, 2023. Born December 30th, 1963 in San Rafeal California to Bill and Janet Hulsey. He was the middle child of six. Dean, Joe, Keith, Eric, and Jessica. He grew up in Santa Rosa California where he met the love of his life Peggy Sue when he was 15 years old. He joined the military when he was 17. He returned from his first duty station and the couple was married, September 3rd, 1983 in his hometown. The Army moved him to Germany where they had two wonderful children. Randolph “Scott” was born in 1986 and Rachelle in 1988. The family moved to Fort Lewis, Washington in 1991, where he retired as a Sergeant First Class in 1996. He learned to cook from his mom. In the Military he started his career as a cook and then went on to run a dining facility. He took good care of his soldiers, and it was his passion to feed everyone. He opened and operated Randy’s Diner in Tacoma, Washington in 2001. In 2004, it was his turn to follow his wife’s career and they moved to Montana. In 2007 Rachelle welcomed Carmandee Sue into the world, he was the proudest Papa ever. Rachelle married Levi Christopher in July 2013 and Jayden joined our family. In July of 2018 Scott welcomed his first baby girl Kimber. Scott married Natasha in October 2022 and our fourth grandchild Dominic joined our family. While in Montana, his career consisted of Walmart for 16 years and then Ace Hardware. Randy loved riding his motorcycle in the summer. We took several trips visiting friends & family and site seeing across the US and Canada. Randy was a social butterfly at heart. Anytime we went on vacation, he always knew someone. If he didn’t, he would have a new friend by the end of the trip. He made long lasting relationships wherever he went. Randy was a highlight to every Taco Bell event. My husband and I always liked to be able to visit with him and lived all his stories. He will be missed on this side of Heaven.

Randy was such a joy to see and talk to at work. He could always make you laugh. My heart goes out to his family. They were so important to him. I'm a better person for getting to know him.

Peggy and family: Randy was such a personality at Walmart 3259. He was always funny and quick-witted. When times were rough, he would always manage to lighten the situation. His larger-than-life attitude motivated everyone. Peggy, he always talked about you and his children very fondly. He was so proud of you and how hard you worked in your profession. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
