Kenzan Grace Ployhar

CLINTON ~ Kenzan Grace Ployhar, age 8, died on August 15, 2022 at her home. She spent half of her life fiercely battling childhood cancer. She was born February 26, 2014 in Missoula to Angela and Trevor Ployhar. She was known by family and friends to be smart, bossy and undeniably brave. She had an endless supply of sass. She aspired to be a police officer when she grew up and very much preferred “Superheroes” to “Princesses”. Her memory will be cherished by all as a precious gift. Though her time with us was short, she touched so many. We are so grateful to the many nurses, child life specialists, social workers, doctors, teachers and various therapy teams that helped to guide us on this journey. Pediatric cancer is a beastly horror that leaves a path of destruction. For Kenzan and so many children before her – Childhood Cancer kills. Those that are “lucky” enough to survive must continue to battle with debilitating side effects and live in a state of constant fear of relapse. We will continue to fight for awareness and a cure. Kenzan is survived by her parents; brother Martin; grandparents; great-grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s home in Clinton, Montana on Saturday, August 20, 2022 beginning at noon. As we say goodnight to Kenzan, we know in our hearts that she is saying “Good night to you too. ” We will love you forever, Sweets.
