Betty Mae Lyon

Betty Mae (Treichel) Lyon, 78, of Missoula, passed away April 12, 2024, from a brief illness, at home with her daughters Crystal,

Brenda and Brandy by her side, along with other loving family members.

Crystal was also her primary caregiver for many years.

Betty was born April 15, 1945, in Missoula, to Mildred and

Daniel Treichel, she also had 2 brothers, Harry and Norman.

Betty attended Franklin Elementary, Hellgate and Sentinel High School.

She worked at 4B’s as a teenager and laundry services as an adult.

She married the love of her life, Warren Lyon, Jr. on October 3rd, 1964. They made their home on Flathead Lake. Then after the passing of her husband, she moved with her family back to Missoula. Her hobby was watching old westerns and listening to country music.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Warren; parents,

Mildred and Daniel; and her 2 brothers, Harry and Norman.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Crystal Lyon, Brenda (Mike) Howe, and Brandy (Ty) Goakey; 5 grandchildren, and 5 great

grandchildren; along with numerous family and friends.

We wil be having a celebration of life and potluck on June 15th, at Franklin Park, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, in Missoula, MT.
