Souvenirs

Farron Ohl, age 59, was born on April 23rd, 1967, to Kay Smith (Collins) and Ward Ohl in Missoula, MT. His childhood was spent the way most Montana kids are, outside, muddy, and surrounded by family and friends. After attending grade school in the Missoula and Polson area and a couple of years of high school in South Dakota, he returned home and graduated from Big Sky High School (1986). As a young adult, he enjoyed a cadet program, camping, fishing, and hunting trips, content anywhere in the Montana outdoors, provided nothing slithered across the trail. Farron was afraid of snakes and made no secret of it. He was the proud father of three beautiful children: son Farron Jr., daughter Taylor, and son Dylan. He spent his final years with his partner Lisa, who took very good care of him and their two cats. He could talk to anyone, and usually did. He loved others deeply and had a heart ready to accept anyone exactly as they were, though he'd tell you he loved NASCAR, the Cowboys, and Mountain Dew even more.  His jokes were lame, but he told them anyway, and he grinned the same way every time. Farron will be missed, but his memory will bring joy to many. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Collins; his father, Ward Ohl; his son, Farron Ohl Jr.; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his partner, Lisa Knowles; his children, Taylor and Dylan; his sister, Tiana Campbell (Bob); his stepfather, Ralph Collins; and many nieces, nephews, and stepsiblings. Family requests donations in lieu of flowers to AniMeals of Missoula. Services will be held privately at a later date.

Rest in peace Farron. A good man, with a good heart. You will forever be remembered by myself, Sonya and the children who will always refer to you as grandad Fannen. Thank you for your friendship and kindness over the years we knew you. I will always remember our chats, your obsession with lucozade and your failed attempts at drinking with me when you were in the UK. I hope your family finds comfort in the little happy memories of you and that yo are remembered fondly by all that knew you. Rest in peace my man.
