Steven K Hayes

Steven K Hayes was born on May 28th, 1954 to his loving parents, Doc and Loraine Hayes. Steve passed away at home on January 4th, 2023 surrounded by love. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, brother Spence, sister-in-law Kate, as well as his in-laws, Larry and Genny Topel. Steve met his wife Sandi in July of 1973 and were together for the remainder of his life. They married in Missoula, MT on September 7th 1974. Steve is survived by: his two loving daughters, Michelle (Ken) Burke, and Sammie (Brian) Wardner, his five grandchildren: Mikaela Hayes (Partner Kim Lovitt), Markus Hansen, Mytchel Hansen, Aspen Wardner, and Shane Burke (wife Tasha Burke). As well as great grandchildren: Maverik Hansen and Fisher Burke. He is also survived by his sister Diana, brother-in-law Dennis Hamrick, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Irene Topel, brother-in-law Tom Topel and Laure Thom, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Steve was a lifelong lover of animals and was survived by his devoted Charlee Ann, who was beside him until the very end. He also had lots of fur-great grand babies who he loved very much. Donations are to be sent to the Big Sky Hospice and the Poverello Center, Missoula. We will be having a celebration of life for him in July 2023
