Violet was a good mom. She loved God, she worked hard to provide for her family. I (being the youngest ) got away with way more than I should have, she wasn't rich, but she always made sure I had what I needed. Every Saturday we would take a road trip to some out of the way place, be it old ghost towns, or just to another small town to have a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll. It's because of her I learned auto mechanics, not in a formal school, but repairing her vehicle because she couldn't afford to take it somewhere to have it done, and if she did take it, they would tell her she needed work done it didn't need. She was honest, kind hearted, and most times cheerful. If she had problems, she never let on she was in pain, or unhappy. My childhood was quite good. She always made sure we had a roof over our head and food in our belly, with a huge dose of love to go a long with it. It may have only been tv dinners, but I ate, and had a warm bed to sleep in. She was always quick to give to those less fortunate, always buying someone down on their luck a meal, she was a cook and waitress most of my life, and if someone was hungry, she would always feed them out of her pocket, or helping them with clothes, giving people who were walking rides to wherever they needed to go. Mrs Violet was a good mom, and she will be greatly missed. Her body may be gone, but her Spirit is with God. The Bible says the dust will return to the ground in which it came, but the spirit goes back to God who gave it. She believed in God's son, so according to John 3:17 she will be remembered and restored along with this planet when God makes it new. What a joyous day that will be! To see Violet when she was young, and healthy, with no ailments. That is the hope and promise God gives because of his son. I know you can't hear me, but I love you mom. I'm happy you're no longer in pain. There is a song by the sidewalk prophets. This is not goodbye. This is not goodbye I know we'll meet again 'Cause this is not goodbye It's just "I love you" to take with you Until you're home again

Dear Doug, Debbie, Valerie and Mark We are so sorry for your loss. Aunt Vi was a big part of my early life. We spent a lot of time with the Duffield family. Aunt Vi always made us feel welcome. Us kids loved to go to Gary and Vi 's. Aunt Vi allowed us to do as little or as much as we wanted. But we did plenty. Nothing was off limits. Even when they moved to Parma her door was always open. Her laugh could fill the house. May jehovah comfort her loved ones. May our hope be an anchor. Love. Michael and Rosie Robins
